A few things to share:
We’re in the process of scheduling some stuff, so please keep an eye out for upcoming messages.
Our friends at the Government Accountability Project have loads of resources that we encourage you to peruse.
Open Season started this week and runs through December 9. Some members of DOJ GEN’s IVF working group put together an amazing guide for those exploring a plan change because of expanded IVF coverage options that will be available in 2025. I’m hugely grateful to Abigail Farthing, Jillian Lenson, Sarah Martin, and Emily Gorrivan for their incredible work on this. (Please keep in mind that this is not an OPM guide and you should cross-check the information in it with OPM’s 2025 plan information website. You’ll understand how much work it took to put the guide together when you see how much OPM information there is.)
We’re very glad that on Tuesday, JMD shared doxing information with the entire Department (many components had sent the document or different versions or it earlier). We strongly suspect (but can’t prove) that this is in response to DOJ GEN’s recent letter and the press coverage that it received. The attached document explains where you should report doxing incidents, contains helpful tips for how to protect yourself, and links to important internal and external resources. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns (NOTE: we’re already monitoring the list addressed in this article).
Your work for the Department is vital to protecting Americans’ safety and health; to safeguarding their financial wellbeing; to shielding their civil rights; to preserving their constitutional freedoms and their ability to live in a functional democracy. It should be appreciated and honored by everyone.
Feel free to reach out.
