Resources for federal employees
Hi everyone,
Here are some resources you may find helpful:
Protect Democracy published a DOJ attorney’s guide to upholding ethical obligations and a guide for all federal employees.
The Government Accountability Project offers A Guide to Whistleblowing for Federal Employees, Contractors, and Grantees and a guide on how to blow the whistle anonymously.
The Partnership for Public Service assembled an array of information on its new Federal Employee Resource Hub.
The EEOC has resources on unlawful discrimination in federal workplaces.
The U.S. Special Operations Command offers a manual social media take-down guide that can help you reduce your risk of being doxed.
Over eight years, DOJ GEN achieved extraordinary victories that have made the Department—and the entire federal government—a safer, healthier, and fairer place to work. Our advocacy helped secure three months of paid parental leave for all federal employees; a salary history ban that will bring us closer to pay equity; expanded IVF coverage; a DOJ policy that allows workers to opt out of travel to states where they won’t be able to obtain necessary healthcare; nursing and back-up care accommodations; a Sexual Harassment Steering Committee that issued recommendations resulting in a new policy and the creation of the SMRU; and so much more.
We were able to do this because two Administrations allowed us to do this. As every Administration should.
I’m so glad you found us and joined us. I will always be enormously proud of everything we accomplished together, and I hope you will too.
All the very best,
Stacey
