DOJ GEN hosts doxing event
Hi everyone,
DOJ GEN is having a panel discussion this coming Monday, Dec. 16, at 7 p.m. EST, that should last about an hour. We’ll be hosting the following experts in their fields:
Tracy Chou, a prominent tech CEO and leader in the movement to combat doxing and other online threats, will discuss how people can protect themselves.
Justin Sherman, a cybersecurity expert whose recent Lawfare piece DOJ GEN cited in our letter asking DOJ leadership to strengthen its response to doxing, will discuss the specific online threats facing federal employees today, including from data brokers and geolocation technology.
Dana Gold, the Government Accountability Project’s (GAP) Senior Director of Advocacy & Strategy, will discuss GAP’s work and address what a reinstitution of Schedule F could mean for the federal workforce.
If you can make it, please fill out this form and we’ll send you a Zoom link:
If the form doesn’t work for you, shoot us an email at dojgenderequalitynetwork@gmail.com.
*Please share this invitation with your colleagues and friends at DOJ and other federal agencies.*
I hope to see you there.
Best,
Stacey
